Welcome to Qimei AI. Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the MaCopine application ("App") operated by Qimei Deep Intelligence Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. ("Qimei," "we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MaCopine, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our service. In addition, please visit Privacy Policy if you have any questions before you use our application.
MaCopine is a foreign language practice application powered by Artificial Intelligence. The service provides language learning opportunities in French, German, Spanish, Italian, English, and Simplified Chinese (Mandarin). Our AI-powered platform utilizes technologies from OpenAI, DeepSeek, Twitter Grok, and Mistral AI to provide personalized language learning experiences.
To use certain features of MaCopine, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password and other credentials used to access your MaCopine account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and assume full responsibility for any activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
MaCopine is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use MaCopine with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
MaCopine offers various subscription plans that provide access to different features and content. Subscription details, including pricing and features, are available within the App and on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable recurring subscription fee to your chosen payment method. All subscriptions automatically renew for additional subscription periods unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. If we change the subscription fee, we will provide notice of the change through the App or by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of MaCopine after such change indicates your acceptance of the new fees.
We may offer free trial periods for certain subscription plans. If you sign up for a free trial, you will have access to the premium features for the specified trial period without charge. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends.
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. For subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted through Apple or Google, according to their respective refund policies.
For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the respective platform's payment terms and conditions will apply in addition to these Terms. Apple and Google may collect and process your payment information according to their own privacy policies.
You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or submit while using MaCopine ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based on, distribute, publicly display, and publicly perform your User Content for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and improving MaCopine.

Except for User Content, all content, features, and functionality of MaCopine, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and the compilation thereof, are owned by Qimei, our licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use MaCopine for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of MaCopine or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of MaCopine or its contents; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
"MaCopine," the MaCopine logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Qimei or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on MaCopine are the trademarks of their respective owners.
MaCopine may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Qimei. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any such third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services. If you access any third-party website, service, or content from MaCopine, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Qimei will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage caused by your use of or reliance on any third-party website, service, or content.
MaCopine utilizes artificial intelligence technologies from OpenAI, DeepSeek, Twitter Grok, and Mistral AI to generate content and provide language learning features. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content, you acknowledge that such content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material.
You agree that we may use your interactions with our AI systems to improve and train our language models and enhance the functionality of MaCopine. This usage is subject to the limitations and protections outlined in our Privacy Policy.
You acknowledge that the AI-generated content provided through MaCopine is for educational and practice purposes only and should not be relied upon for critical or professional translations, interpretations, or communications where accuracy is essential.
MACOPINE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
QIMEI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) MACOPINE WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION; (B) ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; (C) MACOPINE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (D) THE RESULTS OF USING MACOPINE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QIMEI, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE MACOPINE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON MACOPINE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM MACOPINE; AND (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain types of damages. Therefore, some of the above limitations in this section may not apply to you. In particular, nothing in these Terms shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer or exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury arising from any negligence or fraud of Qimei.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Qimei, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to MaCopine; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party. This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms and your use of MaCopine.
These Terms and your use of MaCopine shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Beijing under the rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said rules.
Any proceedings to resolve or litigate any dispute in any forum will be conducted solely on an individual basis. Neither you nor Qimei will seek to have any dispute heard as a class action or in any other proceeding in which either party acts or proposes to act in a representative capacity.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use MaCopine after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use MaCopine.
You may terminate your account and discontinue using MaCopine at any time by following the instructions in the App or by contacting us at service@qimei.org.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to MaCopine immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use MaCopine will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

MaCopine may be subject to U.S. export control laws and may be subject to export or import regulations in other countries. You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer, directly or indirectly, any technical data acquired from MaCopine, or any products utilizing such data, in violation of any applicable export laws, restrictions, or regulations.
You acknowledge that MaCopine is designed for use in the countries where it is made available, and by accessing or using MaCopine, you confirm that you are not a person or entity barred from receiving services under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Qimei regarding the use of MaCopine and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, regarding MaCopine.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Any attempt by you to assign or transfer these Terms without such consent will be null and void. We may assign or transfer these Terms, at our sole discretion, without restriction.
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where the delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, labor disputes, or other industrial disturbances, electrical or power outages, utilities or telecommunications failures, earthquakes, storms, or other elements of nature, pandemics, blockages, embargoes, riots, acts or orders of government, acts of terrorism, or war.
Nothing in these Terms will be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Qimei, and you do not have any authority to bind Qimei in any respect whatsoever.
